Join us in celebrating the 16th Anniversary of the Brazilian Independence Day Festival!

The Volunteer Committee of the Brazilian Independence Day Festival is pleased to contact you in anticipation of our 2011 Festival to be held on the week of September 4th through 11th, 2011. This event will mark the 16th consecutive year the Committee has organized such a program. Every year we offer an even better celebration, which since 2007 has been extended to the Metro West area.

The Brazilian Independence Day Festival is unique within the community in the scope and diversity of the population represented. In previous years, the all-day outdoor celebration itself has drawn over 7,000 people. In addition to celebrating Brazilian culture, the festival serves to recognize and promote the growing Brazilian community as a contributing part of American society. All events are open to the general public and there is no cost associated with attendance. The Festival is widely covered by both the local Brazilian media and the American press. In addition, our advertising campaign includes ads on TV Globo International.

Financial sponsorship graciously offered by organizations enables the Committee to produce an event worthy of the estimated 250,000 Brazilians living in the Greater Boston area and the diverse culture they represent. Sponsorship of the Brazilian Independence Day Festival, offers businesses a great opportunity to express their affinity with Brazilians across New England. Our approach of volunteer organization and staffing of the festival – by the Brazilian Community in celebration of the Brazilian Community – allows this opportunity to come at minimal cost to our sponsors.

Below you will find a table with available levels of sponsorships. Exclusive sponsorship is encouraged and interested organizations may request Exclusive Title Sponsorship of the entire event or either the film screening or the Outdoor Festival on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Herter Park located at 1175 Soldier’s Field Road, in Brighton. All Exclusive Sponsorship must be claimed by June 17th and will be attributed on a first-to-reply basis.
